What is the Ranked mode in Apex Legends? In the Ranked games, you'll move up into different divisions that reflect your skills. The mode is to ensure that players with the same skill level can compete against each other and thus provide for more exciting matches.
But above all it serves that the players can compete with each other. It is important for particularly competitive players to see an objective value in which they can see how good they are.
With the launch of Season 2, finally came the leaderboard mode that allows you to do so. Everything else changes in Season 2, you will learn in our article:
Ranked Games in Apex Legends: So you go
How do I start a Ranked game? The selection for Ranked will be made directly in the game screen. Where you could switch between standard and training, you will now find the leaderboard - similar to the elite queue for the hunting event was the case.
Just before the start of the search, select on the left below your character that you want to start a ranked game. The option should be in the far left of the selection. Use FPS Tracker to see your stats before beginning.
Who can participate? Anyone who wants to participate in ranked matches must reach at least level 10. But then you can join anytime, no matter if you are alone, as a couple or as a threesome.
You do not need a Battle Pass or other prerequisites for the mode. However, you have to pay points for games in higher leagues.
This is how the matchmaking works: Apex Legends tries to match you with teams of the same group strength - but that does not always work.
